Design ProjectsMid Century Modern Bachelor Pad
These clients are young men who were looking for a sophisticated bachelor pad with loads of style. They told me what they like and I was able to guide them to style their entire apartment. I designed a Mid Century Modern living room and kitchen with plenty of unique details. I started with a blank slate and completely furnished and designed the apartment. They needed all new furniture and decor. Talk about a transformation!
My favorite details-The boys wanted a “shoeless house” so I designed a bar cart/ shoe storage where people could leave their shoes as they came in! The glass, varying metals, and unique details make this area pop! Who wants a drink?
I was looking for unique and interesting decoration pieces. I had no idea how big of a hit the “rock” was going to be! They absolutely would not stop talking about it!
I used shadow boxes that I already had and added hooks underneath for their favorite drink mugs! Moscow Mules! I love the copper for a little added shine!
Driftwood island piece. Everything has style or “swag” as the boys put it. ha! I wanted a fun key organization that would also fit with the aesthetic!
Every detail had to be a conversation piece. Check out this block puzzle!
Mr. Wilkins my partner in life and business helped the boys make this awesome wood piece for the wall behind their couch. We wanted something made of wood and different but did not want to pay the astronomical prices. I showed Jackson(my husband/ Mr. Wilkins) and he said no problem. The boys came over to our house and he taught them how to cut, stain, and assemble this piece. They not only love it hanging in their apartment but are proud of it because they made it! I love it!
